Chris Webber: B C C+ B B A (Highest A Potential)
Bump up the Potential to the High A He deserves. And tone down the ratings a little. But Webber had a smooth mid range shot (jumpshot should go up from D to C). And he was one of the best passing bigs. He and Vlade Divac in Sacramento were Jokic before Jokic.
Penny Hardaway: B C B B C A (Second Highest A Potential)
Penny's game was beautiful. Great all around game. Not the greatest shooter though.
Jamal Mashburn: B (low B) C+ C B- C A
Monster Mash was a great scorer. Had some injuries like Penny. But he was averaging 24 PPG by year 2. And finished his career as a 20 PPG scorer in Charlotte.
Allan Houston: C+ B C B- C- A
One of the prettiest jumpshots ever. He's the best shooter in this class.
Nick Van Exel: C+ B- B- B- C- A (Lower A)
Speedy flashy point guard. Give him some quickness and passing ability. Decent but streaky shooter.
Lindsey Hunter: C B- C+ B+ C- B
He was a hell of a defensive player. But at 8ppg on 38 Fg% 36 3pt% and 2 apg for his career, the outside shooting and handle grade should be toned down.
CONTINUED...PG Sam Cassell: C+ B- B- B- C- A (lower A)
Sam is in a similar range as Van Exel. But he was better in the midrange area (jumpshot rating).
C Ghoerge Muresan: C+ C- D+ B C+ B
He looks a little too good considering what he was. He had one good season in which he averaged 14/10 with 2.3 BPG. The rest of his career he was mediocre. A giant but a mediocre giant. Then he got hurt after. Only really played 4 years. Decent scorer due to his size. Poor rebounder for his size. And a good shot blocker.
C Shawn Bradley: C+ C- D+ B+ B- B
The other giant in this class. He was an amazing shot blocker. Was top 5 in blocks for 8 consecutive seasons to start his career. That should be his primary strength. Rest of his game is kinda similar to big Gheorge.
SG Isiah JR Rider: B- B- C B- C B
Strong and athletic two guard. Solid jumper. He was a good scorer.
SF Toni Kukoc: B- C+ C+ B C B
Kukoc is a difficult one. His talent in today's NBA would get him like 25 PPG. But in the 90s defensive era + playing with Michael Jordan, his production was above average. 33 % from threes and 72 % from the free throw line. He was a pretty good passer though. So id keep him the same, but up the handles to C+ via pass improvement.
PG David Wesley: C B- B- B C- B
Wesley was better than a C inside/C Outside scorer. He was a starter and double digit scorer for 10+ years and shot over 37% from threes for his career. He was a good roleplayer.
C Ervin Johnson: C+ D+ D+ B+ B- C
Ervin Johnson was a solid role playing defensive big on those Milwaukee Ray Allen, Cassell, Big Dog Robinson teams. With that said, that A defensive grade to start off is a little much.
Antonio Davis: B- C D+ B B- B
Antonio was one of those tough guys in the 90s that we miss today. Him and Dale Davis in Indiana was like a Kane and Undertaker tag team. With that said, B Inside A- defense B rebounding? Hell No. Gotta knock that down a bit. But increase his outside shot. He had a smooth mid range jumper and was an excellent free throw shooter for a PF/C.
