I think Toni Kukoc could be a little better say something like this
SF - Toni Kukoc B C+ B- A- B- A
He was a decent scorer got better down his career and the potential should help with that. But he was an above average passer. He should be a very interesting pick as he could grow out to be one of the more well rounded players in the league or just be a decent player know to play some defense.

then a guy like Dennis Scott should not even be close to a B.

I like where you put Abdul-Raufs and Scott's 3 pt shooting, easily the best shooters in teh draft, no questions asked. and Chris Jackson (Abdul-Rauf) was an asbolute stud coming out of college...

Personally I think GP's is a C+ outside, maybe even a high C.
Look at his first 4 shooting years coming into the league
Year 1 - 7 % from 3's, 71 % FT's Year 2 - 13 % from 3's, 66 % FT's Year 3 - 20 % from 3's, 77 % FT's Year 4 - 27 % from 3's, 59 % FT's
You gotta admit those are some awful numbers for a guard. He should have a great handle, amazing defense, nice inside game, but his outside shooting definitely is no B minus.

If you are going to take away his outside game which he developed later on in his career you damn might as well give him a great inside game with high strength. It's gary payton he was the best PG after stockton in this era.

It's gary payton he was the best PG after stockton in this era. I think he earned that title over time, not necessarily his rookie season. Do we not want to let the A potential work its magic over a few seasons? I don't want to see "veteran" Gary Payton in 1990.

Exactly. Were already seeing veteran versions Rice, Hardaway, etc in their rookie years since we made them too good.
Give the guys a solid starting point, and strong potential. If you give them a great beginning, along with the potential, (AND spending camps) then you"re creating a league full of monsters.

Sure.
Increase
Lionel Simmons Came into the league a monster. Rookie year - 18PPG 8.8RPG 4 APG 1.4 SPG 1.1 BPG Second Year - 17.1PPG 8.1RPG 4.3APG 1.7SPG 1.7BPG Third Year - 17.9PPG 7.2RPG 4.5APG 1.4 SPG Fourth Year - 15.1PPG 7.5RPG 4.1APG 1.4 SPG (Then injuries ruined his career) He wasn't much of an outside shooter so I guess C+ is fine, but Inside should go up to B-. Maybe C+ rebounding, almost a 2 SPG/2BPG player in his second year, so you NEED to improve that defense.
Decrease
Bo Kimble only lasted 3 years in the league with 5.5 PPG 38 FG %, 29 3PT %, and 72 FT %. How's he one of the drafts top outside shooters? That should definitely go down.
Willie Burton is another guy who got a high outside rating and I don't know why (34 % 3pt shooter, and 78 free throw). Also a B handle for a guy with 1.6 tpg/1.2 apg career turnover/assist ratio?
I'll look at more later.

I defer to those with more experience at FBB than me, since mine consists solely of the few months I've participated here. ;D I will ask a general question though: Is it normal for 8 of the top 20 draft prospects to have "A" potential? I only ask because I have yet to get to draft a 1st round pick with the Nuggets, so I honestly don't know what "normal" for that is. I am only in my 3rd season in ITP, so I don't know how much the "A" potential affects ratings each year. I know Tyrone Hill,Ced Ceballos and Toni Kukoc were very solid players, but in my mind I would potential them out at a "B". Perhaps Jayson Williams as well. I could easily see Coleman, Scott and Payton as the only "A" potentials in this draft. Possibly adding Antonio Davis as well. Keeping in mind, I don't know the tangible difference between A and B, just what I envision it might be. Just my thoughts based on my limited knowledge though. Nobody bash me too hard for it if I'm way off base. After all, josh did ask for more IMPUT! ;D

I looked it up and there were 9 A scouted potential guys in the top 20 last year.

This game does not develop players like in the real world thus, you have to make certain aspects of their game good off the bat. Just the way it is folks.

Actually it seems like the game treats the point guard real good when it comes to outside shooting.

It's Gary freaking payton people... One of the top 10 PG's EVER in the HISTORY of the nba.
Titles: 1 (2006)
Honors: Nine-time All-Star, 1996 Defensive POY
The player: More swagger than a gunslinger.
As a lockdown defender nicknamed "The Glove," he's one of the few point guards in Frazier's class defensively.
Great scorer who could run a team and, when necessary, put the club on his back. Break down his career and you'll conclude he's been underrated.
