I voted no on him as well. He's not much different than Thompson aside from averaging 4 more points a game over his career, plus he has fewer individual accolades

He was pretty solid but flamed out kinda fast. I view him kinda the same way don does here so I went with no.

Buck was basically a career 20/10 guy. I gotta think on this one.

I vote yes. Four ASGs, two 3rd teams and one 2nd team. Essentially averaged 20 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks for his career, and if you take out his last two seasons his production is even better.
Averaged over 20 points 9 times, over 11 rebounds 7 times. Williams was a really, really solid PF for his entire career, and longevity definitely means something to me.

I'm going with yes on Buck. There are quite a few consistent years here with 20/10+ type numbers. He is one of the top rebounding players of all time here, and while there are some younger guys that may end up exceeding his numbers over their careers, I don't mind Buck's numbers being the bar that gets set when we look at them.

I think if Thompson is left off so should Buck. Look at how many shots he took over his career to Thompsons. 16464 for Buck to 12387 for Thompson. With that he was only able to average 4 more points per game than him. Plus Thompson has plenty more individual awards than Buck. Their rebounding is similar and they have a similar FG%.
So I voted no as I voted no for Thompson, also Thompson won 2 player of the weeks and a player of the month, something Buck never did.

No, but close. A championship would have made me think a lot harder though.

I voted no. He was very solid, but I think his all-star appearances was due to the lack of quality PF's in the league at that time and not a reflection of how good he was. He was very consistent, but he never won a Player of the Week or Month award, and he never won a championship either. He was very consistent averaging 20-10 for his career, so I have to give him credit there, but in the end I think he was very good, but not great.

my yes vote will obviously not bring him into the HOF, but i do want to ensure he stays on the ballot for another year to think about it.
