Backup PG that he probably could not extend next offseason and center that he could not fit into his original position - comeon - fair trade, agree, but overpayment? No I agree, the Knicks traded pieces that were expendable. But I’m talking about how valuable the asset is. The Knicks are loaded with talent but that doesn’t make Hines or Peewee less valuable to the teams that are not the Knicks. Hines - will be an league player and will put up 26+ppg, 11rpg, 3bpg Peewee - maybe 20ppg, 10apg, probable all star in the near future I guess what I’m saying is, despite trading the best player in this trade. I think the Kings become a better team and don’t have to be concerned about losing Kobe for nothing this offseason. If the Knicks lose Kobe just like they lost Damon. Then what? Was this a good deal for the Knicks? What if, what if Then its Randle for Hines Extending Kobe for whatever he want is a no-brainer. What if Nash or Peewee asks for big extension? Then you need to take calculator (or open excel)

I mean you're pretty big on ethics and respect. You say "thank you" before all your PC questions. Well raised well mannered. So being morally sound individual such as yourself what do you think? Was he wrong for that?

I like them coming out of the West.

I see Kings position/reasons in this trade too, but I had them as best Western team before trade anyway

Does that change the equation? Poor guy put Fred Brown at starting SG and #1 option not having any idea that he's out for the remainder of the regular season.

This is kind of sad, man. It's not my fault you ripped off the Kings for Kobe. Stop trying to drag me down with you for rolling through a stop sign.

Remember the next time you want to start trashing on one of my trades (which you've done twice now), that I stayed out of the comments on this instead of tying you to the back of my horse and dragging you through the fields for this absolute disaster of a trade. It's actually not even that bad now that I'm looking at it. I can't lie. I didn't realize Hines was only 26. If Kings guy doesn't find some volume scorers on the wing and re-sign Kirkland it's all for nothing though. This is kind of sad, man. It's not my fault you ripped off the Kings for Kobe. Stop trying to drag me down with you for rolling through a stop sign. Lol make up your fucking mind. And when you're done. Tell me why you traded injured player out 66 days to a newbie GM without informing him of the injury.

I stayed mostly quiet with all of this. I know this was a risky trade, and it's risky on both sides. This trade can eventually be clearly won by EITHER side, based on winning this year, plus being able to resign the expiring contract on both sides. A couple of factors contribute to the eventual status of this trade: 1. Does either team win the title this year? 2. Kirkland/Kobe - Do either, or both, or neither, resign with their clubs? Last, and I am not trying to bust your chops too much lionsbryan, but Randle was injured at the time of the trade for 27 days. I made sure to let fda know this before the trade occurred, as that is common courtesy to do.
