Now this one is going to sting a bit as I selected LaMelo Ball 2nd overall and traded him for the 4th pick. Wolves sent 2nd overall pick LaMelo Ball to the Knicks in exchange for the 4th overall pick, 2003 Knicks 1st round pick, and 700 cash. The comment made by the Wolves owner and I quote "Told that MF'er and that bitch he calls a dad to not even board the plan to Minnesota." The thought behind the trade was I needed a big more than another guard and Wiseman had very high potential. So, I thought Wiseman would develope and the trade would be a win/win for both teams. However, Wiseman only got his first season of camps as his player, ratings didn't do much and never earned another camp when other players were in need. Would more camps have helped? probably but it's clear despite having a high potential Wiseman was never going to be more than a rebounder. Definitely turned into one of the worst trades in ITP history. Once again you can see having high potential is needed but its never a 100% gauranteed that the player will turn out to be the star you thought they would be.
