I have let it go for season 1 but

SF John Doe/ John Johnson/ John Johnson

Will not work. You cannot list a player twice at the same position. I have let it go due to roster space in season 1 but starting season 2 this will no longer be allowed.

I am ok with this but I feel like it could be better if guys are allowed to play #2 and #3 in rotation if it is just for one position. Or else, you are favoring versatile bench players over specialists or big men that are strictly Centers for instance.

Like I prefer if we would allow

SF John Doe/John Johnson/John Johnson

SG John Doe 2/John Doe 3/John Doe 3

and

SF John Doe/John Johnson/John Doe 3
SG John Doe 2/John Johnson/John Doe 3

and not

SF John Doe/John Johnson/John Johnson

So pretty much if you have a valuable asset he can be your lead off the bench at multiple positions but just can't be listed as duel at the same position and starters can only be starters.

Here's an illustration:

PG: A-F-H
SG: B-F-H
SF: C-F-H
PF: D-G-I
C: E-G-I

Player F is your backup at 3 spots and H is your 3rd stringer there. Player G is your backup at 2 spots and player I is your 3rd stringer there. So you're forced to have a minimum of 9 guys in your depth chart now. The first 7 will get the vast majority of your minutes though.

Just checking if you read that part. I mean, if you allow that and someone decides to put a player for #2 and #3, he would actually require more players instead of less because with the way we will do it now you can use 2 players for 3 positions for instance. So in reality rule just makes it better for a certain typo of player that can play multiple positions rather than for teams to need more players.

Put that in an example:

SF: Player 1/Player 4/Player 5
SG: Player 2/Player 4/Player 5
PG: Player 3/Player 4/Player 5

^ That requires 5 guys.

But if you also allow a player to do #2 and #3 for one position only and someone decides to use that, then you have:

SF: Player 1/Player 4/Player 5
SG: Player 2/Player 4/Player 5
PG: Player 3/Player 6/Player 6

^ That requires 6.

no the rules were meant to be how I asked them to be. Ive let it slide season 1 due to lack of players in a restart.
