i voted no. I had voted no on cooper, and eaton doesnt have the accolades cooper did. granted eaton also had superb years during coopers DPOTY reign, and finally got his in 88, he also missed out on all defense 1st teams because of cooper. their stats come out kind of similar: Cooper- 14.5/10.4/3.9 bpg/.8 spg Eaton- 12.4/11.3/ 4.0 bpg/.9 spg
But not quite enough.

I say No. I just don't think he first ballot hall of famer. I think he will be in there, but his stats are nothing to special and he was always behind Cooper.

It's a no for me. Cooper is a HOFer to me, but he's on the low end of the cusp and makes the cut for me because he was the most dominant defensive player in league history, and Eaton was always one step behind, not to mention worse offensively.

I voted no as well. I didn't vote for Cooper as a 1st ballot guy, so there is no way he gets my vote right now.

I voted yes for Cooper, but this guy wasn't as good offensively, or defensively.

No, nothing too special. At least not deserving of a 1st ballot HOF'er

It's a no for me. One of the hardest evaluations to make in any sport's HOF voting, is how much weight does being great at just defense carry? Eaton's bpg are nice, but I'm not sure what else he really brought to the table that qualifies him as a HOF player as of right now. Maybe down the road.........

i've noticed a few "down the road comments" but if he doesn't muster a 20% vote, he wont be on the ballot in future years.
