I voted no again. What hits home with me is only 1 All League team and only 2 all stars. If it was the hall of very good he is in, but i dont think he is hall worthy.

He's a yes for me again. I think we're hard pressed to find guys with career averages of 23/6/3 and almost two steals, while averaging great shooting percentages.
The lack of accolades is because he played the same position as guys like Jordan, Drexler and Larry Bird. It's tough to get 1st/2nd team honors against those guys.
ALSO - King was rarely camped, which makes his accomplishments even more impressive. Camping is the PED of the ITP, and for the most part, King was a clean player. He's in the HOF to me.

I say yes. He was just consistant, and I do not look too much into all-star votes, and all team stuff, because when the league is full of superstars it is hard for some people to get on the lists. There will be just some guys that make it to the league teams all the time and they sure fire hall of famers. I just think King's numbers speak for themselves.

My vote still goes for no, I just dont see him as HOF as of now. Maybe down the line depending on how others careers go.

Grades aren't always everything. He was a stud early, and he has a ring, and in the early days when I was around, he held some very good players to low percentages especially in the playoffs.

Okay. I went with no last year on King. I'm going to change my vote to "yes" this year. I am compelled buy the arguments of josh and yourkers. My main reason against voting for him last season was the lack of recognition in ITP awards selections. Now, most of King's glory days were before I arrived here, so I am going with the stated fact here that he played the same position as Bird, MJ, and Drexler. Those guys were always at SF since I arrived here, and I have always known King to be a SG.
I do like his numbers, and don't think he will get enough votes to get in this year, but I will vote yes this year. I'd be curious to hear any counter argument that his played position is not the reasoning for his lack of AS game appearances and ITP awards. Those arguments will continue to compel which way my vote swings on BK.

well, king was mostly a SG, and MJ was always SG before he moved to utah, bird has always been listed as SF, drexler has been switched around between PG and SG. i looked up AS games:
86, 87 - MJ and Drexler made it over him. 88, 90 - MJ and Mullin 89 - MJ and Richmond
His best season was easily the first season in the league, where the talent was lower than what we have these days. the reason i am still voting no, is that i dont think his numbers will stack up long term with other players. will Ron Harper be a HOF guy? i think when his career is over they will be comparable.
