in case anyone is curious, since the original post, I went through and rebalanced the ratings for the template a bit. i made it more accurately match the rating distribution of the players in the league at each position. none of the letter grades really changed at all, but some of the numbers are up or down 5-10 pts. Not sure where your other post went but it sounded like the updated version is the one we're going with? And if so, have the current players created been adjusted accordingly? |

if you are over the soft cap after free agency is over, can you still create a player, as long as you have a roster spot open...

did the created players go through training camp...i ask because my player did not change 1 point in any category...i have not looked up others to see if they changed...just asking...

+7's in Inside, Perimeter D and Defensive rebound and pretty significant drop in potential. Overall not too disappointed (except maybe with the drop in Handles and Pass since he's a guard (SG)).

Idea here lets say your players have a total of 500 or so points . Can't we adjust on what attributes we will attach a numerical quotent too . For example I would to like to create myself only NBA size . I should be able to do that as long as it is balanced out in another category . For example for myself i would take jumpshot and 3pt shot to 0 and increase my Handles Def Rebounding Passing and off rebounding . If we can do this I'm all in

Is this still a thing? I see no one has posted here in 6 years. If so, can we do it now? You get the 2 free camps and then can't pay to send him to any more this season, correct? I assume the Focus camp is available still though.....
And I see John said 18 in the initial post and changed the age to 20 in a subsequent one. Just curious. Also, can you change their positions after they're made? I hate undersized or average players, so I'd be looking at making a SF and moving him to SG or PG just for the size.

6. Only players on Rookie contracts are eligible for improvement camps 3. Each player will be signed to a 4 year deal starting with 1.2 million per year salary 10% raises each year. 8. You will post in the player spending thread when creating a player. Name, School, Position, and what two free camps you want him to go to. (Free camps will be postponed if player sent to DL.) So my question is: Created Players Free Camps should happen between the first 4 years (the Rookie contract) or those can be postponed indefinitely? |

if the player goes to D league he cannot be or have free camps. so in a way yes postponed IF sent to D league otherwise no.
