So Legend wanted to comeback to the league and pm'ed me as i was leaving out of town. I personally dont mind it, but I only want him back if he is going to stick with a team and around. He has switched teams I think 3-4 times, and put the magic in the mess they are in. I helped the magic for a new owner only and the GM cash I gave the team would be removed if the league decideds Legend can take over the team.
So I will let you guys decide. I hope to have a answer from the league by tomorrow if enough people reply.
PLEASE keep this thread friendly.

i am ok with it, but definitely agree about team swapping, as i was fairly vocal about not liking the switch to the celtics.

Well I thought it was a done deal. If my time and dedication isn't worth more that that then I rescind my wanting to return.
And I've switched teams twice and it was always because you allowed me too.
So there is your answer John, I don't wish to return.
Yes I messed up the Magic but also did it on purpose because I was rebuilding in a certain year. Although I may not have gone about it the best way in my defense I was/am still learning.
I don't want to play this game anywhere that the Commish might feel I'm a detriment.

Well, that went south in a hurry.  I wish you'd reconsider Legend. I really don't think John meant anything bad by the thread. I believe he just wanted to make sure there were no GM's that would be p.o.'d about it. And as you can see..........you're wanted back.  |

Well I heard Don may have quit because I returned and if that's true then that's the reason this thread was created and if that's the reason Don quit it's a bit sad but far be it for me to ruin someone else's fun.

if you arent coming back, ok...
if you change your mind again and decide to come back, ok...
but in the case of your return i feel like you should be given the celtics back and not be rewarded with a clean slate of a team, magic, to start with...
the new celtics gm, or whatever new gm that gets the team, should get the magic with a chance to build the team they want from scratch, and you should continue on with your plan for the celtics...
the whole purpose of john deleting the long/large contracts and the adding of cash to the magic was to generate interest in obtaining a new gm for the team, for someone who will feel like they have a chance from the start, not to reward a previous gm...

I would do that if John see's fit and I'm assuming the new GM would have to agree.
If I'm wanted back I would love to be back but I don't want to be around if John thinks I'm a detriment to the league.
I admit that I have made ALOT of mistakes as I learned and continue to learn to play this game.
So if the league decided they want me back and if John really feels ok with it I of course want to be in ITP. I truely enjoy ITP and the people in it.
So if it's the Celtics fine, if it's the Magic fine.

I personally dont mind it John doesn't think low of you if he's willing to let you return to his league, and the board members seem to be OK with it, so I don't see any problem here. Welcome back Magic GM (or Celtics GM?) |

If the boston owner is willing to switch I would leave the GM Cash in place for him since he is new. But if he doesnt then the GM cash is reduced to what it was before hand, and if legend decides to quit again then thats it. I dont like GM's moving around alot in the league, but Im not against him coming back I just want him to stick with it one way or another.
So with that I will see what the boston GM says and get back to the league on this. unless the boston GM posts here before then.

Legend, Don is gone, everyone else pretty much wants you to stay... So stay, and either take Boston back or take the Magic with no cash again.. The new Boston GM isnt even here.. So whatever team you dont take John can make attractive for a new owner...

I am looking into it. I would prefer Legend get the celtics back and stick with them as I am running the magic and slowly working on getting them going for a new owner. If boston owner doesnt get one soon Legend can have them.

Ok boston owner contacted me and wants the celtics. So to be honest I dont want to give up control of the Magic since I will be doing the FA bids for them this offseason.
Nets are open but Id rather keep them open for a new owner since Ive posted about openings on other sites.
So to legend I have no answer at this time, I guess you could have the magic but stick with them otherwise I would be very disappointed and wouldnt allow you back after it. Basically not to sound like a dick but this is the last train ride to the station.
You can have the Magic, I will restore the bank to the original amount by next sim.
