Cavs blew a 23 point lead, Hedo hit a big shot with 1 second left in the game, but none of that matters.
1 second left and LeBron puts it right in Hedo's face for the game winning 3. Hedo Turkoglu went from Jordan to Craig Ehlo in 1 second.

all u can do is contest, he did that, lebron hit the shot, but they lucked out, had a huge lead, blew it, and had to rely on the last shot to make the difference. So much for a team that won 8 games and won by 10+ points.

A win is a win. Losing the way Orlando did could suck the life out of them for game 3.

i doubt it, the magic have done it before, they have done good and than lost a game that they should of won, if anything the cavs would be fired up, cuz luck can do that to you. But we will have to see.

This is pretty big though. They could have went to Orlando up 2-0, series would have been all but over.
But I will say 1 thing about Orlando, Mike Brown made no adjustments to stopping Hedo and Rashard. Once again those 2 guys (Plus Pietrus and Lee) hit big shots over and over and Orlando took control of the game.

well as i said before they need to pick their poison, they have to try and stop either on of those. Howard will score his points, and i rather have one of the other players step up big.
on the other hand the magic need to start out strong, they do not want to have to come from behind in almost every game. Show the cavs you can be a front runner and see how they react. See if they have the ability to go on the road and steal one.
But ny the way things are shaking up it will be a fun series.

Unbelievable!
I just watched the last qtr this morning because I dozed off last night.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO POSTERS: Pleeeeease do not type spoilers at the title of each thread, because I had to avoid reading the boards before watching the last qtr of the Cavs-Magic game, ehehe. Last time I checked the Lakers-Nuggets thread title it ruined the game for me. They broadcast games live here in Portugal, but they are so late that sometimes I just watch them the following day.

Its about time he does that on the big stage. If he wants to be the next superstar he needs to do this type of stuff.
Was nice to see to be honest.

That kid is smooth no matter what. At his age nobody has even come close before and it will be a long time until we see another freak like him..

Its amazing what he's doing with that average supporting cast. When Kobe had mediocre talent around him the Lakers were 1 and done team. LeBron is the on the verge of taking Cleveland to their 2nd nba finals appearance in 3 years.

Yeah, I don't think most people realize how much less talented the Cavs are besides Lebron and how much better Lebron makes people look by getting them open J's all the time. The Magic are outplaying the Cavs by a wide margin at every position except for the 3 spot with Lebron.
A very good point by FDA about how Kobe couldn't do much with average talent (remember the whole trade demand saga) compared with what Lebron has done so far.

all i can say is lebrons supprting cast is better than what kobe had.
But with that said lebron did take his team to the finals.
Another thing is lebron plays in the east, so really he had only two teams to worry about at that time, the heat and pistons. Kobe had to worry about the other 7 teams.
Now aquestion that has to be asked is could of kobe took his team to the finals in the east and would of Lebron been able to take the team to the finals if he played in the west?

Better? Whos better? A washed up Wally? A washed up ben wallace? A washed up Big Z who has the footspeed of an offensive linemen and now shoots 3's all day? A washed up Joe Smith? Delonte West who couldnt start for the Thunder? Daniel Gibson who hasn't made a shot since the regular season? Or a bum like Anderson Varajao who wouldn't even be in the NBA it wasn't for LeBron?
Kobe had a real all-star in Caron Butler. Not some spotup shooter who made the all-star game after 8 players opted out due to injuries. And he's had Lamar Odom. Last few years he's been blessed with Pau Gasol. Gasol >>> Every single teammate LeBron ever had combined.
Without LeBron the Cavs would be a lottery team IMO.

Btw the East might have been weaker back then, but still 1 and done??? They either missed playoffs all together, and or got knocked out of round 1.
LeBron was up against a team in Detroit that was SUPPOSED to beat Cleveland. But he refused to lose that year. What was it? 30 points in a row? Whereas Kobe's team choked away a 3-1 game lead to the Suns. You can't make excuses for Kobe.

well dont give lebron all this props.
To really say Kobe had more because he had odom who is soft and butler who was not as good as he is now is pretty far fetch. After they got butler they traded him next year for kwame brown.
Also don't know why you brought up the current cavs team. I was talking about the cavs team that made the finals. Where Big Z still had some fuel left. They also had Gooden, and Larry Hughes(even though he really sucked for the Cavs). They also had Eric Snow who knew how to run an offense when he had the ball in his hands.
The Lakers had Smush Parker as their point, that will not fair well for you.
Also there are plenty of teams that if you take their best player of their team they would most likely be a lotto team.
Wade, Dirk, Duncan, Billups(if the east didn't suck so bad the piston would of been a lotto team), Paul, Roy, Bryant, Joe Johnson. Alot of teams are big star driven, and i really do not see that changing anytime soon.
And I also guess u think the magic will win the series now? This just based of what u think of Lebrons current supporting cast.

You know LeBrons supporting cast was terrible when you gotta say "Larry Hughes(even though he really sucked for the Cavs)." Did he have that little help that you gotta bring up somebody that"sucked"? And Illgaukas has been washed up for sometime now. He averaged 11.9 PPG that year (Actually less than this year). So basically Drew Gooden was his number 2 option. Yes the same Drew Gooden that just signed for the league minimum. And Eric Snow? Lol Eric Snow??? You're cracking on Lamar Odom, and you bring up Eric Snow? They didnt even play him in the postseason that year. He took these bums to the NBA finals. How? By scoring 24 straight points to end Game 5 against a superior Pistons team in Conference Finals, and eventually leading them to 4 straight wins after starting the series 0-2. Kobe? He was at home after round 1. Enough said about that.
And do i pick the Magic to win now? No I never said that. I believe the Cavs will still win, no thanks to LeBrons supporting cast though.
