okay clear this up for me....are you saying that if I have $7mil in cap room and I offer Eddie Jones a $7mil per year contract that is the only offer you are even going to enter because I offered all of my cap room? That kinda sucks if so because lets say im interested in two star players and have $7mil in cap room, they are both worth $7mil and i want to submit offers to both of them hoping to snag one, I could miss out on both of them because i could only submit an offer to one?

I think that you asked the same question last "year" Go up the thread and you will see the same question and gritter's answeR Yep. Asked and answered. If you have $7 million in open cap space, you can offer 10 different players a contract that starts with $7 million in year one. If one signs, the rest will be ignored by the game. Of course, the next sim you could then offer up a MLE and LLE, since you'd then be within $4.5 mil of the cap.

okay now for another question, do FA bids carry over from the previous sim? ex: I make an offer to Rik Smits last sim but he hasnt signed yet, do i need to re-submit the offer for this sim or is it still there?

Ok so how does free agency goes here
Is it open or closed bidding
Do you lock the page when it's open or do you impose a time limit if so how strick
Can you bid for different players per sim
How does the bidding go we can place any number of bids are do we have a fixed number
If there's a fixed number are we allowed to bid for our players indipendently from it
If where in to soft cap how many MLE and LLE are we allowed to bid on if so what's the breakdown

Question
Your right at the salery cap and there's a free agent on your team that chooses not to resign . Now can you resign him because you should be able to ( see : Carmelo Anthony 2013 : ) are do we have a rule in place that won't allow it .

Question Your right at the salery cap and there's a free agent on your team that chooses not to resign . Now can you resign him because you should be able to ( see : Carmelo Anthony 2013 : ) are do we have a rule in place that won't allow it . You can go over the soft or hard cap to resign a player, but if you go over the hard cap you will be required to get back under by the next sim. So, if you have a team salary of $62 million, and you have a free agent where you offer a contract starting at over $20 million (a player with 10+ years of experience), then you would need to make trades to get back under by the next sim. Also, the $82 million dollar hard cap is the number you need to stay under for a legal 12 man roster.
