BEST OF '13 NOV-DEC
Welcome to the first '13 edition of 'Best Of'! So, what happened during November and December?
November started with last Season worst Nuggets hot getting the most out of weird Scheduler that gave Denver who knows how many consecutive Home away; And joining Nuggets it was Title favorite Knicks.
And for awards, you got last Season All-League 3rd Team PG Steve Nash with 1 Player of The Month and 2 Week awards making an early case for the MVP LaMelo award.

December got Knicks to top of the League already and brought Wolves to the West discussion after they had an off start and with early leaders Nuggets, Jazz and Kings all suffering from injuries although Wolves also suffered Noel's injury right after he arrived from Suns; Minnesota spent all Off-Season and entire November aiming a rebuild so maybe they were lucky that right deal did not arrive.
And for awards, it is interesting to find Smart winning month award honors for Spurs after San Antonio GM declared that he signed Smart by mistake and as a consequence of the effects of Alcohol. And for Rookie award, you got yet another Spur Bradley Beal winning his 2nd consecutive Rookie Month award making early ROY favorite.

For top individual performances, I picked 5 players from the top 50 for EFF (filtered for winning performances only) with only Steve Nash repeating from last time around.
For League Records (and almost Records), Nov-Dec had new Points and Field Goals records courtesy of 76ers' tanking job. Other than that, you can observe a certain stabilization for records with game marks far away from records in line with the same for iteration as a whole. I should also add that there was no Best of between January and April of '12 but in those as well no record happened.
And finishing with Triple Doubles and borderline Quadruple Doubles, I got 11 TDs which is not a lot compared to previous years. In my previous edition I found 18 although you can still see LaMelo Ball collecting those as stickers. LaMelo had 3 TDs in last Best of and 3 this time so he might be getting older but the Triple Doubles are still there.
And for Closest to QD there is Stevie Franchise that did not get a Triple Double but was 1 reb and 4 steals away from a Quadruple one.
Note: If you click on links during future Seasons, remember to replace the 'ITPstats' part with 'ITP8/2013'.

For top individual performances, I picked 5 players from the top 50 for EFF (filtered for winning performances only) with only Steve Nash repeating from last time around.
BEST PERFORMANCES
1) Chris Hawkins - 73 pts, 28/42 fg, 17/20 ft, 15 rebs, 5 asts (C, 76ers, day7)
2) Steve Nash - 50 pts, 21/29 fg, 4 rebs, 11 asts, 5 stls (PG, Celtics, day1)
3) Zach LaVine - 59 pts, 23/32 fg, 8/11 3p, 8 asts, 4 stls (SG, Hornets, day32)
4) Paul Pierce - 49 pts, 6/7 3p, 9/10 ft, 14 rebs, 4 asts (SF, Hawks, day27)
5) Chris Hawkins - 55 pts, 21/40 fg, 13/19 ft, 23 rebs, 6 blks (C, 76ers, day27)
COMPLETE EFF LIST
1) Chris Hawkins - 73 pts, 28/42 fg, 17/20 ft, 15 rebs, 5 asts (C, 76ers, day7)
In 1st place it couldn't be anyone but Chris Created Hawkins with Iteration Points breaking performance in 135 to 131 win against West 2nd best Utah Jazz. Lots of Fgs and Fts with high %s plus a bit of luck with Hines' early injury did the trick. Hawkins was also 5 assists away from a Triple Double.
2) Steve Nash - 50 pts, 21/29 fg, 4 rebs, 11 asts, 5 stls (PG, Celtics, day1)
At #2, you got Ex Knick Steve Nash defeating best team in the League Knicks 141 to 132 in New York. Nash brought 50 points with high %s, 11 assists, 5 steals and good rebounds to deliver Celtics the hardest possible win.
3) Zach LaVine - 59 pts, 23/32 fg, 8/11 3p, 8 asts, 4 stls (SG, Hornets, day32)
At #3, you can find yet another superstar taking revenge at his old team in 140 to 123 away win for Hornets against Pacers. Lavine was 2nd in EFF behind Hawkins with almost 60 point with superb %s plus 8 assists, 4 steals and 5 rebounds.
4) Paul Pierce - 49 pts, 6/7 3p, 9/10 ft, 14 rebs, 4 asts (SF, Hawks, day27)
At #4, you got The Truth courtesy of missing in action GM Daboy in 109 to 86 away win of Hawks against West #1 Nuggets. So, if Daboy was around he probably would have wanted to lose but Pierce had other plans scoring efficient 49 points to go with 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Truth was also exposed about young Jordan not being able to guard Pierce.
5) Chris Hawkins - 55 pts, 21/40 fg, 13/19 ft, 23 rebs, 6 blks (C, 76ers, day27)
And in 5th and last place, I have Hawkins again refusing to let 76ers pile of whatever Roster lose in 110 to 105 win against 76ers proxy Mavs. Smooth must have loved it, lol. Hawkins had a big 'Big' sort of lineup with 55 points, 23 rebounds and 6 blocks plus he got Mavs' first 2 Center options fouled out.

PLAYERS
Points/ Chris Hawkins - 73 (C, 76ers, day7) *League Record* : 3 over rc
So I was saying in Top Performances ranking, Hawkins broke '07 Embiid's 70 points record. Record is still behind 81 record established both in ITP6 (Nick Young) and ITP7 (Raef Lafrentz) but I guess 76ers have an entire losing Season to go for it.
FG/ Chris Hawkins - 28 (C, 76ers, day7) *League Record* : 1 over rc
Points record performance also broke FG record surpassing '11 LaMelo's 27.
