With this new edition, I am proud to present to you (more proud than I am of my team right now), the new Advanced Stats Table! In the table you will see the 3 new stats I added from last sim and 3 new stats I added yesterday. These are the 3 I added yesterday: PFGG : Points per Field Goal attempt per Game This is how many points a team scores per field goal attempts. The higher the better. The Raptors are the leader at 1.26 points per field goal attempt. This takes into consideration part the FG% but also if they take more 3s or 2s than other team and make more. Points per possession would have been nice, but I cannot get how many offensive rebounds there is per game, so I can estimate that stat unfortunately. RDPG : Rebound Differential Per Game This is a measure of how many rebounds a team gets versus how many it lets the other team get. Again, higher the number the better. The Knicks are first in this category with +11.4 rebounds per game. So they are able to get 11.4 rebounds more than the opposition. ATOR : Assist to Turnover Ratio per game This is a measure of how many assists a team has per 1 turnover. Celtics are the best in this category with a2.68 assists for every turnover they have. Today we added oPFGG, oATOR and PDif. oPFGG and oATOR is simply the opponents stats against your team for points per field goal and assists per turnover. Pdif is the points differential. Simply put, your PPG minus oPGG. Higher the number, the better. Here are the stats for this sim! If you wonder, yes the new stats are counted into the rankings total.
