You're not concerned about the extra reliance on the 3point shot? They are similar in that regard to Golden State. Except Warriors had the 3 best shooters in the world. I feel like they conned the rest of the league into thinking that's the formula. Because the rest of the league doesn't have Steph/Klay (and KD). You rely on the 3 there's gonna a stretch of games where that 3 isn't falling. And You could lose 3 regular season games in a row like that. And nobody really cares. But if it happens in the playoffs? Then you find yourself down 3-0. Just like what happened vs Miami last year. Those first 3 losses Celtics shot from 3: 34% 28% 26% And the deciding Game 7: 21 % Live by the 3. Die by the 3. That's what happened to the Houston Rockets in game 7. When they missed 27 threes in a row. Because they wanted to be just like Golden State. But you can't. I think this years team is a lot better than last years team. The additions of Holiday and Porzingis were really good additions. Now, one injury to their starting lineup, and I am singing a different tune. They're better defensively. Porzingis is like merging Horford and Robert Williams together. If Rob were ever healthy. Have the rim protection of Williams. With the stretch 5 abilities of Horford. With a low post/mid range to boot. He was a perfect fit. But he's never been much of a rebounder. Last year I felt like offensive rebs and getting to the FT line were your Achilles heel. This year you're once again average to below average in both categories. While still heavily relying on that 3. To me that's what playoffs are about. Being aggressive. Doing the dirty work. Celtics are too much of a pretty boy team. That's why I question them.

They've earned the right to be questioned, no doubt. I am just hoping for a healthy unit at playoff time to try and change that narrative.
Oh, and everyone has their weak areas. It's just a matter of who can expose the others more.

John1974 Do you think there's a good chance either Conley or Gobert will rest tonight at Portland?

Small bets today. I hope Gobert doesn't DNP. Blazers are plagued with injuries at the guard positions and Rudy always plays well against Ayton.
T'Wolves moneyline + Gobert over 9.5 rebounds + Anthony Edwards over 19.5 points - Bet $100, win $176
T'Wolves moneyline + Gobert over 9.5 rebounds + Anthony Edwards over 19.5 points + Gobert over 9.5 points + T'Wolves win 1st quarter - Bet $50, win $147

Not much I like tonight. There's a good chance Zion will not play, and Brandon Ingram dropped 40 on the Wizards in their last match-up, so between those two things I like Ingram to get his buckets. Not asking for much from McCollum, but guards always play well against the Wizards. When I bet against the Wizards I usually bet on a lot of rebounding stuff because they are like historically bad at allowing offensive put backs, but I can't even bet on Valanciunas in this game. Fanduel doesn't have him available in any props at all. They're probably tired of people getting free money by betting on post players against the Wizards.
Ingram over 19.5 points + McCollum over 9.5 points + McCollum over 3.5 assists = +107 - I bet $100 for a $207 payout.

Gobert against Ayton again. I like Gobert to get his double-double and Conley and KAT to simply show up to the game.
Gobert over 9.5 rebounds + Gobert over 9.5 points + Conley over 3.5 assists and KAT over 3.5 rebounds - (-137) Bet $100 to win $173
