I kill cockroaches and leave their dead remains on the wall like a deer head. You know to deter the other roaches. Does that count?

well we've got the ok, but the owner's family asked to use it during the holidays so we decided to wait till January to go do some exploring. me and my buddy have never seen this land though I've been talking with the owner for several years about getting some sort of arrangement for usage.
turns out the other fella was talking to the owner before he met me and the owner had told him about another friend of his (me) and what i'd wanted to do on the land. He was told that since he'd not heard from me in over a year, HE was free to use. My buddy had the same idea as I did for building a small hunting cabin ect..
anyhow my "buddy" and I just met recently through mutual friends and got to talking and he told me about a guy who was going to let him use his 200 acres.. I was like, man, ya know I had a friend who has about 200 acres over in alabama and I was going to do the same thing on it you are thinking about.
says him- well this 200 acres is in alabama too.
I jokingly say, oh yeah, well I don't suppose your friends name is So-and-so..
and he says, well actually it is... I was like, what in the wide wide world of fuck are the chances?
well anyhow, i'm having near surgery on December 30th and will be on crutches till febuary. but we're still intent on going over and exploring in January. pick out a plot to build on. We hope to have a foundation in and chimney being worked on for a 16X16 cabin by the time im off crutches.
then we will be cutting wood for next year and building the rest of the place. ought to be a fun project.

Certainly is a small world no matter how big it sure is. a few years ago my wife and I went to Italy for the first time. bumped into friends from north Carolina, Chicago and new mexico and new york all on the same day. the rest of the two weeks were much safer.
