I like the trade for the Thunder but sorry if KD & Westbrook can't win together don't see PG and Westbrook doing so without adding a 3rd star or a couple key players.

Hope the Rockets get Iggy or Millsap and Iman Shumpert. Heard they could be trying to move pieces around to pull off a Melo trade.

PJ Tucker was a nice pickup. Tough dude, good defender, good three point shooter.

I liked the Wolves trade of Rubio to open up more cap space, especially if Hayward leaves Utah in FA...but signing Teague was baffling to me, because he's not going to fix the potential floor spacing issue at all since the 3 Pt shooting is going to be just as bad if not worse than with Rubio. The Wolves have to find a way to improve the outside shooting over the remainder of FA, although maybe now the Wolves should just play the bigs outside & let Butler or Wiggins post up frequently & live @ the charity stripe. The way the Wolves are currently setup, cutting action to the rim is going to be of the most importance...since the spotup perimeter shooting is still likely a mess. To me Lowry or Mills would have been better fits than Teague for perimeter shooting purposes, but as long as the team defense really locks down & Butler helps turn Wiggins into a better 2 way player...instead of almost strictly being a scorer & providing almost nothing else on the court/on the statsheet. Either way I'm excited to see how much improvement the Wolves make this season.

PG would've been better, not a fan of lowry when it comes to competing, mills is more of a backup. but I like the teague pick a lot for the wolves. The wolves and 76ers have really put together great young cores.
Wolves - Teague-butler-wiggins-Kat-Dieng 76ers - fultz-covington-simmons-saric-embiid/okafor

and now the wolves signed, taj gibson, another great move. I can honestly see them getting to the Western Finals now, if they can avoid GSW and Spurs

I love the core for the Wolves, but they need to add some wing depth. They're set with bigs (Towns, Dieng, Gibson, and Bjelica) and somewhat set at the point (Teague & Tyus Jones). After Butler and Wiggins, they don't have anyone to come in off the bench, unless they bring back Shabazz. Of course I don't think they can afford him unless they can move Cole Aldrich.

They just renounced the rights to Shabazz, making him a UFA

Well, it looks like the Wolves had to rescind the qualifying offer for Shabazz in order to bring in Gibson. Maybe trading Aldrich and the OKC 1st for a SG/SF is in the cards, though I'm not sure who that player would be.

I like Shabazz. He's got some JR Rider/Bonzi Wells to him with his ability to finish strong around the basket/post up as a SG. But what was he ever gonna amount to playing behind Wiggins/Butler on the wings. You're probably better off with some veteran defender/shooter. A type of player you could now attract to come aboard on the cheap (something you probably couldn't have done in previous years.)

Tatum looked awesome against the 76ers yesterday. I still think he might be the best player in this draft. Adebayo has an outside chance too, both were slept on

Celtics sign gordon hayward. It should be interesting to see how they play hayward-tatum-jaylon brown-crowder-bradley at the 2-3.

an interesting pair of signings by the kings. George Hill and zach Randolph. I suppose it makes sense if you got money you need to spend and want some vets to teach the rooks of this and last years draft. George Hill probably shouldve signed with the spurs IMO, with ginobili retiring and parker slowing down, and his success there.

looks like the Hawks are about to make a three team trade. here is what the trade would look like:
Hawks receive: Diamond Stone Jamal Crawford 2018 protected pick (never understand what that means)
Clipper receive: Danilo Gallinari
Nuggets receive: Paul Millsap

Nick Young to the Warriors is interesting. A guy who loves to jack up 3s in transisition and is pretty effective doing so.
