It was a chain effect of screwage. 1. Pass Interference for Lions. Cowboys get win. 2. Dez "catch". Packers Win, Cowboys Lose 3. Bostick onside mishap. Seahawks Win, Packers Lose 4. Seahawks throw instead of run. Patriots Win, Seahawks lose

The legend I've heard about, but never seen. Sorry, I'm a bit jaded because most Packer fans I run into are total homers that have no idea about the game of football and can't tie their shoe without assistance.

I really dislike total homers so I can see where your coming from. I have a Bears fan who argues Cutler is best QB in the North. Im realistic. This next year I think we got one of our best shots at the Super Bowl since the 15-1 year but winning the North will be tough. Vikings will compete for first in division to. I think Lions and Bears arent really going to contend though

I have to agree with you, I think the Packers and Vikings are the only teams that have a realistic shot at winning the North (barring major injuries of course). The Packers have one of the best QB's in all of football, who can keep the Packers in any game. However, I think their defense needs to improve for them to make a run at the Super Bowl. They have some high impact players on that side of the ball (Clay Mathews & Julius Peppers), but I think losing B.J. Raji will hurt because the key to a good 3-4 defense is a NT that can take up blockers. I know he hasn't been very good the past couple of years, but I'm not sure they have a better replacement for him.
With my Vikings, I think they are the opposite of the Packers. To me, the defense is very good and should be even better this year, while the offense needs to do a lot to improve, especially in the passing game. The offensive line should be much better with the addition of Alex Boone and Andre Smith, and the return of John Sullivan and Phil Loadholt from injury. I think this should make them a better running team, and hopefully they can do a better job in pass protection as well.
With Chicago and Detroit, I think they are both a mess right now, though I can see Chicago going in the right direction. John Fox always does a good job of getting his team to play well, even if they are not the most talented team. I see Detroit finishing 4th after losing Calvin Johnson.

Guion was better than Raji and Kenny Clark might fit the system better as a NT. I think the defense will be better than last year. Not by much but I think it will be barring no injuries. Barrington, another year of experience for Jake Ryan and Blake Martinez will help ease Matthews out of the middle. Randall and Rollins will be nice with more experience. I think the offense will be explosive again with Nelson and the additions of Cook and possible playable Janis(raw ability and low playbook knowledge kept him from playing). Plus skinny Lacy might get the running game going again.
I think the Vikings will be a team that just wins games by being tougher than the other opponent. They might not blow out every team but I think they will control a lot of games. Bridgewater is the only thing that worries me from holding them back. If he can take a step forward they will be dangerous and can contend for the Super Bowl. If he plays like last year, I dont quite see them winning 3 big playoff games. AP needs to stay healthy and not hit an age wall also, but I dont see that happening. Their defense could take them far too. One of the top defenses in the NFC in my opinion.
