If it needs to be split in two trades then do players in 1 and $2105 plus 1st for $5 in second

Yeah, White's deal is terrible, but being in rebuild mode, I can put up with one more year of his salary. I'll obviously buy out the final two years, and still have money to camp a couple of the young guys. And you never know where the pick will end up!
The Blazers now have eight picks in the next three drafts, including all of our own.

As for your thoughts on Kellogg he will never be an All Star - let's face it he was 2nd bext Rookie SF in 81 and that is likely to remain the only time he is seen in the end of season awards let alone the All STAR game

Seems like a solid deal for both.
Pistons get Gill
Blazers get $1500 ($600 to buyout white). White becomes a 2 year deal, blazers are rebuilding and next year he's only an expiring so the deal isn't bad. Plus they get a future 1st you never know what that can turn into especially with a veteran club like the Pistons.
