Heat trade (PF) Cadillac Anderson (SF) Derrick McKey Wolves 1990 1st Kings 1990 1st
Spurs trade (C) David Robinson (SF) Keith Lee $280 Cash
I really dont like this trade for the Spurs, Anderson is ok, and so is McKey but thats about it. The Picks should be low as both these teams were playoff teams and have made deals to become better. D Rob will be a star, and by this not improving the team, i dont see the intention of making the trade.
If the Spurs have some kind of plan I hope it works because this trade could really hurt the franchise.
On the Other hand this helps the Heat stay that much closer to the Bulls, and it will only be time when Bird is gone and Bosco will have to make the moves and keep his team ahead of the Curve.

I got a good deal and I almost traded Robinson for Mullin right before I took this deal. My starting 5 is 10 times better then what it was when I took over and my plan is to resign Benoit long term and this starting 5 will be great over the next 3 and 4 seasons. McKey and Anderson will give me more production then Robinson/the noname that was there before. And they are both young with room to grow and signed for 3 years. And I got 2 first round picks back which was what it cost me to bring in Willie Anderson. I see my team doing well.

This deal makes me look silly for having paid a future 1st for Donald Royal, ehehe. Next time I won't hold back the trade shark in me when it comes to trading with new GMs. Be warned! I'm going to veto it, not just because it's a terrible move, but mainly because he is a new GM and this deal definitely deserves to be given a more experienced look.

I just dont understand why you would break up the Robinson/Benoit duo after they carried you to the playoffs. McKey is a good young piece, Anderson can block some shots but thats about it. Is that really enough for a superstar who make pennies the next 3 years?
