Greene Cartwright Williams $300 81 2nd 82 2nd
Gasol Hardaway 82 1st
This trade is just flat out terrible. We didn't let a Greene/gasol trade go through before and all John was getting was gasol. He also gave up firsts. Now the magic give up gasol, hardaway and a sure lotto pick to get Greene some ok prospects, useless second round picks, and not a camp worthy amount of cash. Pretty much it's the magic trading away their future gasol/Stockton/first for Greene and cash. Also if I remember the magic saying he would not move any firsts.

I told you all who the magic is. Nobody listens to me. I need to get in on the action.

His team gets worse so his pick next year would be top 5 easily. Cartwright is nothing special and Williams looks very similar to Cartwright. That pick could get him a top flight player not some projects.

Stockton for Hardaway- aweful
this is even worse. Why is he trying to trade Gasol so much, especially for older mediocre players. and giving up a top 5 pick of his own in the deal as well. Gasol alone for this package would still not be a good deal for him, but it would at least be passable..

Drew is his best player. Plus he is taking on Greene's contract. He is not freeing up cap. So not sure what you are seeing. N yes it is easy to make it to the playoffs. But I am sure people don't do this to just make the playoffs.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm sick of seeing everything being vetoed. Literally everything.
But I'm gonna try and hold my tongue here since I'm involved in the trade.
