KG is tough. He was never a big time difference maker.

Mediocre shot blocker. His effiency was a little weak. In a 4 year span from his 6th season - 9th season he shot:

40.6 FG %
41.4 FG %
41.7 FG %
39.7 FG %

Those numbers will hurt your team. Especially from a higher volume scorer.

He was a great rebounder. He had good longevity. He's got a long list of accolades. But I think that makes him a little overrated. Because overall as a player from a year to year basis, I never saw him as a true STAR. He's a hall of very good player. But not a hall of fame player.

I had no idea how decent KG was throughout this sim though. I honestly underrated him and never really noticed him.

But I guess that’s the point. He never stood out as a remarkable player.

Yes. Felt like his prime years were wasted on those bad Pistons teams, was productive for a loonnnggg time and racked up plenty of accolades

I vote no. If you’re going to be shooting 43.7 FG% for your career and not make threes either, you’d better be super elite on defense, which he doesn’t seem to have been?

Yes. He has the accolades, and he was a well above average defender.

No for many reasons already mentioned. Wish he would have been under better circumstances earlier in his career IE ME!
