Problem I think was that the Raptors deal that was posted one day before this one was proceeded without confirmation requiring Rockets to cut an extra player. I think it was fair though because that trade came first.

Problem is he accepted the trade. Now he's ghosting the Lakers, probably because he had a change of heart.

Not because he gotta cut Andres Gill or Connie Norman. He can easily find more cuts on his roster.

To allow that as an excuse sets up a very fucked up precedent.

If you ask me what I really think would have been the right way to do things was to clear the air with the Raptors trade before posting this one. Accept that one first or talk to Beatonz; because I look at both and it seems pretty obvious to me at least that Herrmann was an alternative to Garbajosa.

I don’t think Kong is defending Josh, just laying out the facts. He should have just backed out of either the Raptors or Lakers deals if he doubled up. Would suck for anyone but would be acceptable as long as he voiced it.
