So I will just post each person's Round table here so it doesn't take as long and I want everyone to be able to claim, sorry again.

1. Who are your surprise teams to start so far this season?



Warriors in first in the west right now is cool. Didn't really see that coming but Draymond is great and Childress is coming into his own. Mavs are fighting for the 2 seed which is equally cool. The east is more or less what I expected. Knicks are on fire



2. Who are the top 3 potential rookies of the year this season?



Aguirre, Herb Williams, and Jeff Ruland I would say. But it's early still



3. What is one rule major or minor you think might need tweaking and why?



Maybe instead of limiting camps at age 25, you can do 8 total full camps and 4 half camps or something like that. Camps are such a huge advantage and with how young everyone in the league started, the draft has been devalued hard the first couple of seasons.



4. With the Pandemic and movie setbacks, what is 1-2 movies you can’t wait to see that are coming out in 2022, can be TV series season as well.



Oh I don't follow movies and shit like that lol. I know I want to see the Halo series that's coming out as well as the LOTR one. So I'll say those two. I'm not a superhero guy but Robert Pattinson has earned a lot of good will with The Lighthouse and that other Uncut Gems type movie he did, so I'll see Batman just for him.



5. How horrible was the dunk contest? Rank your favorite year dunk contest



Horrible. Too many misses. My favorite one personally was way back when Jason Richardson was doing wild shit. Don't remember what year but I remember the dunks



6. What is your style of building a team and strategy?



I don't really have a style. Ideally I would like to build outside focused teams but in this game the draft and free agency etc is a lot of luck, so you kinda just gotta take what you can get



7. Name the top 3 players in the league currently you would love to own right now and why?



In no order



Anthony Davis - future best big man in the league



Jokic - my favorite non celtic in the nba and he's really good. Joseph won't let his grimy fingers off him though



Vince Carter. So cool, so good. Some new GM is gonna be so happy taking over Money Marv's team.

1. Who are your surprise teams to start so far this season?



I’m surprised the Mavs are over 500 and sitting in first place. Then again somebody gotta win that Bottomwest division. But after they played down the stretch last year, and the way the started this year. They looked like a guaranteed lotto team. So it’s impressive to see them 2 games over 500.



Hornets are kinda surprising too. I thought with the improvement in the East, they would drop due to their stagnant progress, but they’re maintaining. For now at least.



2. Who are the top 3 potential rookies of the year this season?



1) Isiah Thomas. He’s not a perfect #1 overall pick. But he’s putting up good numbers and the game tends to favor point guards in awards.

2) Mark Aguirre. He’s putting up big point numbers for the Clippers. He might push Isiah.

3) Herb Williams. He’s been a steal and clearly the best big in this class putting up about 14/10 with two blocks.



3. What is one rule major or minor you think might need tweaking and why?



Something to minimize cash a little bit. Because as of right now you get cash for every bowl movement in this league, and it’s crested an insane amount of camping. We gotta slow it down.



4. With the Pandemic and movie setbacks, what is 1-2 movies you can’t wait to see that are coming out in 2022, can be TV series season as well.



I honestly don’t care much for new movies these days. Every thing they put out is the same recycled bullshit. A remake, a prequel, a sequel. A fast and furious 29.



I’m not up on any new tv shows either. I just watch reruns of the office, the wire, and sopranos.

Even as a Knick fan watching Obi win it was horrible. The dunk contests got pretty dry after all those Nate Robinson years. That’s when the gimmicks started to ruin it for me. So gotta go back to the early 2000s. Probably that Vince Carter one.



6. What is your style of building a team and strategy?



Shooting. Get the best possible perimeter scorers I can obtain at PG-SG-SF. Put all my resources into building that trio. And then what’s left use it towards bigs that can rebound and block shots.



7. Name the top 3 players in the league currently you would love to own right now and why?



Well like I said my guys are the shooters. So...

1) Ben Gordon. He’s the most dynamic scoring guard in the game IMO.

2) Paul Pierce. Hate the Celtics. Hated Pierce in real life. But over here he’s been one of my favorites ever since year 1 of this league. The scoring ability plus the great defense.

3) Embiid. Hate the turnovers. But he’s like the best of both worlds. The shit blocking of a big I’d want + the scoring blend of a star SG.



8. What is your favorite type of music and name the top 3 artists/bands and their songs.



Grew up on 90s-early 2000s New York rap music.

1. Who are your surprise teams to start so far this season?



The Knicks are somewhat of a surprise. They could use some frontcourt help but the play of their big 3, Bogdan, Grant and Crowder has been great. Out west I am surprised by how competitive it is. Last season it was a 1-2 team race but now its looking like 4-5 teams are threatening to compete for the right to represent the west in the finals.



2. Who are the top 3 potential rookies of the year this season?



Isiah Thomas, Mark Aguirre, Buck Williams. In that order.



3. What is one rule major or minor you think might need tweaking and why?



I made it clear on another RT that the position rules are a hindrance to the league. It has been addressed but its clear that the damage is done. That and the fact that most of the league is under 26.



4. With the Pandemic and movie setbacks, what is 1-2 movies you can’t wait to see that are coming out in 2022, can be TV series season as well.



GoT prequel for sure. Im a huge asoiaf nerd so to get the Targaryen stories on TV will be great... except for the impending incest.

I am also excited for the Obi Wan series. I'm not all that into Star Wars but Obi Wan was always the man and Ewan McGregor kills it in the role.

The dunk contest was w/e. It wasn't the worst ive ever seen but far from the best. My favorites are either the 08 dunk contest with Gerald Green blowing out the candle on the rim and D12 with the superman *dunk, or 03 with the Jrich dunks in the old school Warriors jersey.



6. What is your style of building a team and strategy?



Defense, Defense, and 3pt shooting. To me, that the recipe for success. Versatile wings that can defend 1-4 and hopefully shoot it efficiently from deep. 2, or even better 3, solid rim protectors. When it comes to big men, you want block leaders. A PG that can either fill it up or lock down the opposing ball handler and the rest of the squad just needs to shoot it efficiently.



7. Name the top 3 players in the league currently you would love to own right now and why?



Embiid... Pretty self explanatory, hes a 3 level scoring machine.

Ben Gordon... My vote for MVP. All around superstar that is #1 in assists, #4 in scoring and close to the top in steals per game.

Nurkic.... His rebounding sets him apart from all other bigs that are in the discussion for best big man.



8. What is your favorite type of music and name the top 3 artists/bands and their songs.



I grew up a hip-hop head but as I've grown my tastes have expanded somewhat. With that being said, im going to list my favorite rappers anyways.



J Cole. It's been Coleworld since 09 and he's only proven himself to be a GOAT in the game since then.



I recently watched the 1st episode of the Kanye documentary on Netflix and MY GOD did I forget how great College Dropout and Late Registration are. Those albums have been in heavy rotation for the last week.



Kendrick is another goat in the game and I find myself listening to Section 80 from 2011 all the time.

Knick in the east and Warriors in the West. Knicks had an amazing TC.

Isiah, Aguirre and probably Ruland


3. What is one rule major or minor you think might need tweaking and why?

I don't think we should be able to move a players position after they've been drafted. I think they should be able to play up or down one poition, but look at what's going on with Raef playing PG. It's just stupid.

Worst one I've seen. The best is probably the first year Lavine and Aaron Gordon did it


6. What is your style of building a team and strategy?

I usually like to tank and get some top young guys, and also accumulate assets. I prefer defensive minded big and scoring/shooting perimeter players.


7. Name the top 3 players in the league currently you would love to own right now and why?

Bogdan and Ben Gordon because they're the most dominant PG's in the league and Paul Pierce because he's the best two way player in the league.

1. Who are your surprise teams to start so far this season?



Not really surprised by any teams but to choose the Warriors playing as well as they are is imoressive. Green is a full on superstar and good thing they didn't trade him because they would of regretted it.





2. Who are the top 3 potential rookies of the year this season?



Thomas- Guy is doing really well and being a PG he should have no issue winning

Ruland- 10 points in 18 mins is impressive for a rookie and if he was given the minutes his numbers would be really.really good.

Aguirre- His scoring is ultra impressive. Scoring over 20 while shooting over 47% is rare for a rookie. Clippers got a good one.



3. What is one rule major or minor you think might need tweaking and why?

Playing SGs at PG. N then switching players back and forth. Once they are changed they should be changed forever. Raef playing PG is laughable and if this wasn't a game it wouldn't work one bit.



4. With the Pandemic and movie setbacks, what is 1-2 movies you can’t wait to see that are coming out in 2022, can be TV series season as well.



Dr strange is one for sure. It looks ultra amazing and gonna be so visually special and Avatar 2. Been waiting for this like forever and can't wait. Bonus is stranger things. One of the Best shows and I can't wait.

I don't watch enough to care and didn't watch this year's so can't say. But I loved the one where lavine and Gordon went at each other even though Gordon should of won.



6. What is your style of building a team and strategy?

For me I just go with what I am feeling. Getting Jamison I went with bigs and built around his strengths. So depends on what I have. Bit usually you want to get an outside focused offense with players who perform well in stocks. Plus bigs who are defenders and don't shoot too much unless they like Sully.



7. Name the top 3 players in the league currently you would love to own right now and why?



Bogdonavic- he would take my team to the next level.

Jokic- being wasted in Brooklyn because the guy loves some guy who is a ball hog.

Dirk- a fav and him and Sully would be a fun front court

I am a rock and roll guy. I love all types of music but I will always go back to rock and roll no matter what.

1. Golden State Warriors - They have a solid team, just didn't think this solid.

2. New York Knicks - Their players developed really well this off season and it is showing.

3. Utah Jazz - They made it past round one last year, but with the same roster they just couldn't compete this year.





2. Who are the top 3 potential rookies of the year this season?





1. Mark Aguirre - Dude can score, hopefully he can develop his outside shooting or he may be a little one dimensional.



2. Isiah Thomas - I was a little worried after seeing his attributes. But he will come along nicely.

3. Jay Vincent - Although not putting up the numbers like the first two players on this list, I really like his make up. Will be really good.



3. What is one rule major or minor you think might need tweaking and why?





I've mentioned it before, but I think cash is a little out of control. But the league has made some good changes to address it. With that being said, cash is ultra valuable right now because there are so many young players. This will level out. No real complaints.

I honestly have no clue, I don't pay enough attention to movies and shows coming out.

I checked out the first episode of that Kanye documentary and it was pretty good. Looking forward to more there.

Pretty bad, BUT I think it ruined Obi Toppin's good performance. His dunks were legit but no one seemed to realize.

I think it is similar to many others in this league. Solid defensive bigs, scoring outside focused wings and PG.





7. Name the top 3 players in the league currently you would love to own right now and why?



The Raptors only weakness is a star SF.

1. Although the western conference is weak as hell, I'm surprised the Warriors are the number one seed right now with their lack of star power at the guard positions. On the other end I'm surprised the Cavaliers aren't better with all that perimeter scoring and adding Eddy Curry.



2. I'll say the top 3 guys in contention have to be Herb Williams, Isaiah Thomas, and Mark Aguirre. All 3 are having good rookie seasons and I wouldn't be surprised if any one of them wins it. It'll come down to the wire



3. I think the "LaFrentz Rule" should not have been grandfathered in. It should have been effective immediately and retroactively. Possibly even a stripping of the last title the Nets won.



4. John Wick chapter 4, I can never get tired of the headshot king. Also the new minions as the kids are looking forward to that



5. My favorite dunk contest is far and away 2016 with Lavine and Gordon. The creativity and new dunks we seen that year is unprecedented for a modern contest. 2020 also gets underrated and was hella exciting with Gordon and Derrick Jones matching 50 for 50 all the way through overtime till D-Wade gave the contest a black eye. This year may not only be the worst NBA dunk contest of all time, but maybe the worst at any level. Heck I seen a YMCA dunk contest more entertaining



6. Well my style is one that I have yet to implement at all. But I prefer stacking assets, then going for perimeter star power. With good rebounding and shotblocking from my bigs. That has yet to show itself but we'll look dramatically different very soon



7. Ben Gordon, he has multiple titles and MVPs in his future. Bogdan Bogdanovich who is a monster and may be the best player in the league. And Joel Embiid because he's far and away the best center



8. I like R&B/Soul. Hard to name a top 3 but I'll say Lauryn Hill, The Weeknd, and Drake. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill will always be my all time favorite.



9. Good, you actually made it not obvious which is rare. My easiest one is marry Oprah, did you see the Chappelle skit where he was married to her ? Sign me up. Next I'll fuck Ellen, she's not that bad when she's dressing and acting like a woman. Kelly Clarkson can go

Well besides how the Cavs are averaging 116ppg leading the league and only averaging 14apg not done while having nobody with handles B+ or better.



Our whole division really and not in a good way. I'm surprised we all suck so bad , I know and understand kings are hurt but still we shouldn't be this bad but guess it's a west issue in general.

1st major rule would be less camping. Really hate idea of outside sources interfering with you scouting players and letting the games TC do it's thing and fairly gm it out.

Doctor strange 2 loved the first one,Then Bob’s Burgers Movie my wife loves the TV show , maybe a date night out of it ....lastly Sonic the Hedgehog 2 my kids loved the first one.

6. What is your style of building a team and strategy?



We usually aim for outside players and who play very fast, so all our trading focuses on attributes that help that aspect of our team. We usually build with a couple pg's first then we grab a big man then back to guards.



7. Name the top 3 players in the leaguew currently you would love to own right now and why?



Bogdan - Perfect outside scoring threat as well as can run PG



Jermni grant- think he is perfect SF for our system as he scores , defends and rebounds



Rashad Lewis , we need a PF that can play sf or vice versa and with Lewis ability to play outside we also thing he would perfect on our roster.
