The fast forward thing is definitely a good point. I don't mind fast paced leagues generally, but it does happen in those that articles I think of end up not getting written for instance because I couldn't find the time initially and the relevance disappears, yesterday's news kind of. I'm not a one league GM, so it's hard to keep up with the fast pace of some leagues, and most of those leagues have a lot of problems keeping everybody active and involved, which further makes me less enthusiastic for those to keep involved myself. It's not by definition though, because the most active legue I'm in is the fastest of them all. 10 weeks gone and we're 40 days into the third season already, with NO vacancies, quite the contrary: the commish has already fired enough GM's to fill an entire league, at least! The difference is with that league is that it is very active indeed, yesterday 21 GM's were present in the live sim chatroom. That commands enthusiasm. Because of that it's my number one league at the moment. In spite of or thanks to the pace, I'm really not sure..
