John1974 the Otto Moore situation got me thinking. What about for future free cuts, we have a buyout bidding system? 1) The team is free cutting the player, because they want him off the team. So why keep the player there on an expiring? Just cut him 2) Once hes cut hes put into the buyout market. 3) Which then creates a 24 hour bidding for his services. That way everybody gets a chance to become aware of the players availability. 4) The first bid is an automatic $100 dollars (GM Cash). 5) And then from there each bid increases by $100. (EXAMPLE - John opens the bid for Otto at $100, I outbid him for $200, Klomper bids $300, etc. Until 24 hours pass. And the Final highest bid gets the player) A small subtle addition to the league that adds a little flavor. And this way future Otto Moore situations become less complicated.

It was my error he was supposed to become expiring like we always do.

I realize that. But why keep the player on the team even on an expiring?
And then should free cut turned expiring players be allowed to be traded? Because by altering the contract you're altering the value of the player.
So if you allow those trades its weird. If you dont, then the team has to sit on a player they dont even want.
So why not try something a little different? Have a little bid once in a while.

Reason I don't add the picks is I have to manually trade picks to get order correct since we draft early. It makes it harder if picks are traded in gane Oh ok I understand the reasoning then
